LeRoy Ford Carter

LeRoy Carter, 84, died Saturday, April 17, 2004.

Graveside Service 2:00 P.M. Tuesday Azleland Cemetery. 

Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

 LeRoy was born to Vern and Ima Carter on October 23, 1919 in Beaver Okla. He was a veteran of World War II. LeRoy married Lorene Louise McLain in Beaver, Okla. September 6, 1937. 

He was employed with Equity Elevators in Perryton for 30 years until his retirement in 1976. The couple moved to Springtown in 1976 to be closer to their children.

 LeRoy is preceded in death by his father, mother and sister.

Survivors: Wife, Lorene; sons, Sam Carter and wife Glenda of Arlington, Tom Carter and wife Mary of Springtown; daughters, Jan Rogers and husband, Andy of Antlers, Okla. and Chyrle Murry and husband Don of Springtown; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-granddaughter.
