Geneva Laverne McRoberts

Geneva "Nanny" McRoberts, 62, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all, lost her battle with lung disease on Sunday, February 15, 2004 in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2004 at White's Azle Chapel.

Burial: Azleland Cemetery

 Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Geneva McRoberts was born Oct. 10, 1941 in Fort Worth to Lawrence Clark and Ella Lee Dykes Lewis. She was manager of Briar Hill Grocery for 20 years.

Survivors: Husband of 37 years, Roy McRoberts; sons and spouses, Freddie and Denise Bone, Lesley and April Lambert, Barry and Tracey Wood, Michael McRoberts; sisters, Pat Hewitt, Mary Johnson, Leona Cordell, Doris Abshire; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
