F. Roy Dake

F. Roy Dake, 74, a loving husband, father and grandfather, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at White's Azle Chapel. 

Burial: Azleland Cemetery.

 Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

 F. Roy Dake, a longtime resident of Lake Worth and Azle, was born Jan. 30, 1930 in Goldfield, Iowa to Fredrick and Iris Dake. Roy owned Dake Construction, was active in Silver Creek Baptist Church, and was a longtime Gideon. He attended Hardin-Simmons University.

Survivors: Wife, June Burton Dake of Azle; children, Barbara and Raymond Ramons of Joshua, Steve and Valerie Dake of Arlington, John Dake of Dallas, Jeff and Debra Williams of New Zealand; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
