Anne Muriel Wilcox

 Anne Muriel Wilcox, 89, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2004 in Weatherford. 

Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Monday at First Baptist Church in Springtown. 

Burial: Springtown Cemetery. 

Visitation: 3-5 p.m., Sunday at White's Funeral Home. 

Anne Wilcox was born August 14, 1914 to William and Clara Ashworth Welch in Groesbeck. She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening and sewing. Anne taught Sunday School for many years at the First Baptist Church of Springtown. 

Mrs. Wilcox was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1980; daughter, Dorothy Bailey in 1998; and grandson, Marshall Frye in 1994.

 Survivors: Daughters, Martha Mayo and husband, Bill of Springtown, Pam Frye and husband Mike of Nemo; grandchildren, Mike Bailey, Marci Jacob, Sheri Mathis, Jerry Mayo, Kelly Mayo, Mason Frye, and Michelle Frye; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Marvin Bailey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
