Dixie Lou Torrence

Dixie Torrence, 68, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, died Tuesday, January 27, 2004 in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Azle.

 Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at White's Azle Funeral Home.

Memorials: First Baptist Church of Azle Building Fund, 1016 Boyd Road, Azle, TX 76020.

Mrs. Torrence was born Sept. 28, 1935 in Waco to Dick and Bess Owens Torrence. She was a long time resident of Azle and an avid user of her PC and Internet. She was a good Christian and has gone to be with her Lord.

 Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister.

Survivors: Son, Dan Lockhart and wife Kathy of Azle; sister, Glenda Goodrich and husband Vernon of Azle; brother, Cliff Torrence and wife Claudell of Plano; three grandchildren, Dana, April, and D.J.; great grandchild, Avarie; and many friends and acquaintances.
