Finis George Christenberry, 92, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2004 in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 10, First Baptist Church of Springtown. 

Burial: Springtown Cemetery. 

Visitation: 6-9 p.m., Friday at White's Funeral Home, Springtown.

 Memorials: In leiu of flowers family request donations be made to the Gideons or your church mission fund.

Finis George Christenberry was born April 10, 1911 to Archie and Elizabeth Christenberry in Springtown, where he lived his 92 years.He was a retired dairy farmer and rural postal carrier, among numerous other jobs. He was an election judge for 37 years along with serving on a number of boards and civic organizations. 

Finis was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Vivian; and twin sons, Maurice and Marcell.

Survivors: Son, Terry Christenberry and wife, Ann of Kansas City, MO; daughters, Mary McClour and husband, Mel of Denton, Maurine Hampton and husband, Terry of Springtown; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
