Elijah Arnold Dixon

Elijah A. "Dick" Dixon, 76, a retired supervisor for General Dynamics, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 1, 2004 in Paradise.

Funeral: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at First Baptist Church of Springtown.

 Burial: Springtown Cemetery. 

Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Monday at White's Funeral Home. 

Elijah "Dick" Dixon was a good christian man who loved and adored his family and church. He honorably served his country. Dick retired from the U.S. Air Force and then completed a second career at General Dynamics. 

Survivors: Wife, Grace Dixon of Paradise; sons, Bob Dixon and wife, Sally of Rice, Bill Dixon and wife, Alisa of Springtown, Richard Dixon and wife, Lynn of Fairfield, OH, Alex Dixon and wife, Nicole of Springtown, Richard Daniel Dixon of Paradise; daughters, Mary McGee and husband, Louis of Saginaw, Linda Klemett and husband, Andrew of Austin, Amy Dixon of Ft. Worth; brothers, Willie Joe Dixon and wife, Nancy of Lake Whitney, Bob E. Dixon of Lake Whitney, James Melvin Dixon and wife, Terry of Axtell; sister, Mildred Scott and husband, Willie of Arlington; 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, friends and acquaintances.
