Eugene V. Bump

Eugene V. Bump, 64, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, died Sunday, December 7, 2003 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Eugene Bump was born July 18, 1939 in Norton, Kansas to Varney Eugene and Katherine Bowen Bump. Eugene enjoyed flying. He was an accomplished metal craftsman and mechanic. He also enjoyed restoring old automobiles and airplanes.

 Survivors include wife, Frances Bump of Weatherford; children, Carolyn Lackey and husband, Jim, Cynthia Bump, Cathy Mora and husband, Scott, Christine Pittman, Chanda Price and husband, Jamey; grandchildren, Chris and Dustin Lackey, Amber Covington and husband, Darren, John Barnes, William Bramble, Jimmy Price; great grandchildren, Kaleigh Fiebrandt-Lackey; sister, Wanda Raimonde and husband, Rudy; brother, Ray Quinn; brother- in-law, Bill May; and numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vista Care Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
