Claude R. Starnes, 93, passed away Friday, October 31, 2003, in Springtown.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Cottondale.
Burial: Joy Cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Monday at White's Funeral Home.
Mr. Starnes was born January 2, 1910 in Bonham. He had been a resident of Wise County for 50 years. Mr. Starnes spent his life as a stock farmer and rancher.
Survivors: Daughter, Claudine Devoll and husband, Jim of Weatherford; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Norman Starnes and wife Lavelle of Wichita Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.
