Visitation: 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at White's Springtown Funeral Home .

James Hayes was born May 7, 1954 in Bridgeport. He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors: Son, Jeremy Hayes; parents, Vera Evans and Bennie F. Hayes; brother, Wayne Hayes and numerous nieces and nephews.
