Thomas L. Hughes

Thomas L. Hughes, 74, died Sunday, September 14, 2003 in Azle. 

Graveside service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. 

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White's Azle Funeral Home.

 Mr. Hughes was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a decorated Navy veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Yondola, in Aug. 2002. 

Survivors: Sons, Thomas L. Hughes II and wife Karen of Weatherford, Carrol James Brem and wife, Kitty of River Falls Wis., Larry Hughes of Fort Worth; daughters, Carolyn Buchanan of Fort Worth, Genean Collins and husband, Danny of Scottsburg, Ind., Natalie Hughes of Houston; sisters, Sienna Turner and Erda McMahan, both of Lexington, KY; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
