John D. Miller

John D. Miller, Jr. 83, a retired mechanic with Fort Worth ISD, died Monday, September 8, 2003 in a Fort Worth hospital. 

Funeral: 10 a.m. Thurs. at Azle Church of Christ.

 Burial: Azleland Memorial Park. 

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wed. at White's Azle Funeral Home.

Mr. Miller was born Dec. 31, 1919 in Honey Grove to John David and Maggie Neeley Miller. He was a loving father and grandfather. 

John was preceded in death by his wife, Aubrey Modell Miller and a brother Billy Leon "Glen" Miller. 

Survivors: Sons, John E. Miller of Fort Worth, David G. Miller and wife, Margaret of Flower Mound; daughters, Doris E. Douglas and husband, Robert of Azle, Judy Miller of Grand Prairie, Betty Bevil and husband, Gene of Decatur; sisters, Maurine Thornton, Ruby Adamson, Dorothy Pitchford, Mary Brown; brothers, James "Pee Wee" Miller, Lloyd Miller; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
