Mrs. Barnett was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Albuquerque, N.M., to Mary Jane and Frank U. Byrd. She was a dedicated wife and soulmate to Ralph T. Barnett for 53 years until he died Sept. 21, 1992. They went every year for 35 years to Colorado, to hunt with their lifetime friends. Margaret was a Baptist and lived most of her life in Fort Worth and Azle. She had a strong quiet strength.
Margaret worked for years in cosmetics at Riverside Rexall Drug Store. She always had the most beautiful fingernails, loved coffee, and enjoyed eating out and visiting with family and friends.
Margaret's passion was collecting bells that were brought to her by friends and relatives from all over the world. She had about 500 bells. We will miss her.
