Connie A. Matthews

Connie A. Matthews, 98, a retired restaurant owner, died Sunday, July 13, 2003 at a Weatherford nursing home.Connie A. Matthews was born February 24, 1905 in Desdemona, Texas to Alonzo Matthews and Easter Louise Kuykendall Matthews. He was a longtime resident of Fort Worth, where he operated several restaurants. He was a member of the Christian Science Church. Mr. Matthew's wife, Violet "Vi" Matthews preceded him in death in May 2003.Survivors: Three daughters, Sandra Brown of Weatherford, Linda Davis and husband, Gary of Silverton, CO, Cynthia Waddell and husband, Mark of Fort Worth; son, Roger Matthews and wife, Cheryl of Colorado Springs, CO,; grandchildren, Casey, Talor, and Boyd Matthews, Bader Ledbetter and husband, Todd; one great grandchild, Macie Ledbetter.
