Velma Williamson

Velma Williamson, 91, died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at a local nursing home. Velma Williamson, the daughter of Arthur C. Williamson and Nancy Bivins Williamson, was born January 30, 1912 in Pulaski, Tenn. She was a prolific gardener. During her younger years she won many awards for her needlepoint work. Ms. Williamson was a lady who worked until her early eighties, and loved to travel. She was an active member of Meadowbrook Methodist Church of Fort Worth. Survivors: Brother, Arthur Williamson, Jr. and wife Ethel of Weatherford; niece, Elaine Carter and husband, Ronnie of Weatherford; 14 nieces and nephews; and numerous great and great, great nieces and nephews.
