October 23, 1941 — December 19, 2020

Orville Cleveland Anderson, Jr. 79, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 in Mineral Wells. Graveside Service: 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. He was born October 23, 1941 in Ft. Worth to Orville and Margaret Johnson Anderson. Orville honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. After leaving the Air Force he obtained his pilots license and spent the majority of his life as a private corporate pilot. He also did volunteer work by flying medical patients to Galveston area hospitals. Orville was rated to fly several types of planes and was also a helicopter pilot. He also inspected planes and did mechanical work. He lived his later years in the Soda Springs community of Parker County and was a member of the Live Oak Baptist Church in the Natty Flat community (Santo area) of Palo Pinto County. Orville’s proudest accomplishment was that of being a Master Mason. He was a member of almost every Masonic Lodge in Palo Pinto and Parker Counties. He devoted countless hours to those Lodges, and many others, in service to those in need. Orville was a true Mason and loved spending time with his “Brothers” in the work of the Lodge or trying to beat them in the game of 42. Orville was preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his son, Kevin Cleve Anderson of Springtown; and his brother, Dennis and sister-in-law, Helen of Nashville, Tennessee.
